Beyoncé will drop her next album on July 29

Beyoncé made a surprise announcement earlier this week when she announced a new album. It is called “Renaissance” and it will be dropped on July 29.

Over the last couple of years, Beyoncé had accustomed her fans to surprise albums, releasing her popular self-titled project out on the blue in 2013 and teasing her 2016 “Lemonade” just one week before it was dropped. 

With her latest project, Beyoncé is going back to a more traditional route. Her website has been updated with a new album available for pre-order. Furthermore, her social media accounts have featured pictures reading, “act I … RENAISSANCE” which seems to suggest that there will be multiple releases of the album. The BeyHive will have to be a little more patient before discovering this new era of the singer.
